Resolutions of Questionable Practices

In 2015, a group named Babywearers of Color commissioned an exclusive with CariSlings. This exclusive came to be known as #Solidarity, and the group's name was incorporated into the design. In October 2016, CariSlings posted to their Facebook page that they were releasing a second colorway in their #Solidarity series. The group (while it had changed hands) had no idea that a second colorway was being run and released. Comments were made on their post requesting accountability, however they post was eventually deleted. At one point a comment was made that CariSlings was not aware that the group still existed. As CariSlings designed the wrap in the first place, they likely own all rights to the artwork. However, re-running a design that bears a group's name without notifying the group was problematic for many.
